Cesar Nahas, M.D., F.A.C.S
|
 Dr. Nahas is a board-certified (ABMS) cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon. He is currently practicing at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center where he has been successful in expanding and enhancing the cardiac program. Dr. Nahas is also on the clinical teaching staff at Baylor College of Medicine. He has developed special expertise in off-pump coronary artery bypass and mitral valve repair.
Dr. Nahas received his medical degree at St. Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon in 1983. He completed his training in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine with Dr. Michael DeBakey. Prior to his current position, Dr. Nahas was a full time faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine, and was chief of the cardiac surgery at the Houston VA Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association.
